The people aren't new to me, except the artist who captured these portraits — wonderful work.
ReplyDeleteWinold Reiss und seine schönen Porträtillustrationen für das buch The New Negro 1925. Die Harlem Renaissance stand Reiss offen, Reiss fühlte sich zu den vielen Ethnien in Amerika hingezogen.
ReplyDeleteReiss war auch für seine Gëmalde von amerikanischen Ureinwohnern und seine Innenarchitektur bekannt.
