It's Gigi's birthday today! Besides being a brilliant writer, besides working full-time in the marketing department at Powell's, she's an incredibly talented and prolific designer of book covers. She's the house designer for Forest Avenue Press, but an even larger percentage of her projects are taken on freelance. This little Photoshopped birthday card is a celebration of all the beautiful covers she's created - actually, I couldn't quite fit them all in - and a tribute to her shocking capacity for hard work. Gigi, my darling wife, I salute you!
