Here are a lot of pictures of sapphire and aquamarine jewels. Some things I find rather pretty, eh? I could tell you things about a lot of these pieces, who made them, who has owned them, who still owns them. I could toss out names like Cartier and Fabergé and Chaumet, like Leuchtenberg, like Queen Marie-Amélie and Queen Victoria, Princess Paley and the Grand Duchess Vladimir; you know how I love all that sort of pedantic wallowing. But sometimes...? Just sometimes I remember that... la vie est courte. Enjoy!
