Robert McVoy by George Platt Lynes, circa 1941

I love that the artistic bit of drapery appears to be the model's trousers.

Robert McVoy was a dancer with Lincoln Kirstein and George Balanchine's Ballet Caravan, one of the precursors to their New York City Ballet.

George Platt Lynes (April 15, 1907, East Orange – December 6, 1955, New York City), an important American art and commercial photographer.  He is best remembered for his portraits, his images of ballet dancers, and for his male nudes.
