Ethel Barrymore in costume as Lady Teazle, The School for Scandal, 1923

I think this is from that play; she definitely did perform it in 1923.

Ethel Barrymore (August 15, 1879, Philadelphia - June 18, 1959, Hollywood), born Ethel Mae Blythe (Blythe was the real name of her father, actor Maurice Barrymore), a legendary American stage actress, considered by many the greatest actress of her generation.  She is also famous as one of the three great Barrymore siblings, being the sister of John and Lionel.

She made several early silent films, and was a much-respected character actress on film in her later years; she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1944 for her role in None but the Lonely Heart.
