Barbette was a great celebrity in Paris during the Twenties and early Thirties; Cocteau, among others, was quite fascinated by him. I don't know where any of these photographs might be on display, but they are certainly in many museum collections.

I remember Man Ray very well, but I don't remember Barbette at all. Do we know where these photos are displayed?
