Sculpture class and model, circa 1912

I have no further information on this photograph. And I certainly have no explanation for the pose. I suppose we're therefore free to make up our own scenarios....

(The socks might be the best part.)

    1. Are there? I can't say I see anything particularly odd. But perhaps you're very - sensitive - to ears, Stefan. ; )

  3. One can certainly see why he was used as an artists model. He has uniformly wonderful proportions. As to the pose, the only thing I can surmise is that he's being helped to get into the pose desired by the assembled artists. Otherwise they are about to break into a spirited tango.
