  1. There are so many wonderful images here, and when I scrolled down to the Athletic Model Guild photo, I burst out laughing. Love the "unknown" Victorian (?) woman with her horse in the snow. Evocative! Thank you for making my Sunday morning.

  4. That Man On Horseback painting with its quiet melancholy has haunted me for years--a depiction of a man returning home from the Thirty Years War, it captures the exhaustion and disillusionment perfectly. I was glad to see it included here:)
