  1. Always fascinating! I had a drama teacher who had been an actress in NYC on radio & early television. She told me that once, during WW II, she was leaving a stylish nightclub in NYC. Just at that moment, Ingrid Bergman entered accompanied by two Officers in uniform. She was wearing a baby blue suit, no makeup. My teacher said she was the most beautiful woman she ever saw in person in her lifetime.

    For Bergman var det Garbo, og for Garbo var det Asta Nielsen.
    Asta Nielsen, den danske damen som var den forste superstjernen i europeisk film.
    Alle tre, Ingrid, G.G. og Asta var inspirasjonsdamer for alle.
