I just happened to notice yesterday that today is my dear Winterhalter's birthday. (His two hundred and thirteenth, if you're counting.) Franz Xaver was born on an April 20th and - as I always feel compelled to note - he died on a July 8th. My birthday is July 8. And, no, we're not talking the same year.
