Edith Bouvier Beale (7 November 1917 – circa 9 January 2002), American socialite, fashion model and cabaret performer. She was a first cousin of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Lee Radziwill, and became widely known for her participation in the 1975 independent documentary film
Grey Gardens by Albert and David Maysles. "Little Edie", a famously "staunch character", has become a beloved and legendary cult figure.
